Bar End Mirrors

Been looking at these, but worried about how much visibility I will get out of them? What's everyones thoughts on these?

i just put a set on my bike last wk... they are pretty good, there domed so everything looks further away then they are, night time is worse, but i expect to get used to the distance thing, they give a really good view other then that, the only other problem is if ur gona always be looking in ur mirrors every 2seconds, because they are so low and out to the side ur feild of vision goes off the road for that second or 2, could be dangerous in certain situations, also u cant moniter the mirrors in the corner of ur eyes any more.. that makes them sound usless, but they are GREAT, just need to becareful of whats in front of u befor checking behind.. i love them and wont be going back to 'normal' mirrors anytime soon.

mirrors he has used and very little distortion through vibration to.

mate as far as im concerned they are fucking awsome and worth the dollars they may be small but you still get a great veiw from them and they dont vibrate at all either

I got some opf the ones you see on Ebay, Fairly big in comparison to others, vibration is minimal and once you get used to the size they are pretty good. My only grief is you need to turn your head a bit and move your arm slightly to see them. THis also means taking your eyes off whats ahead which is what got me into my last accident.
In reality your buying them for their Aesthetics, not so much their function. You'll find in building your fighter that there will be a lot of this.

rod will tell u what my mirrors are like they look good came from italy and u cant see bugger all in em cos there so small...... but then ive got a special trick i use ...called lookin over my shoulder ..i never trust mirrors anyway

mine are fukin huge lol the bike looks like a ragin bull with them on

i use crg lane splitters and find them excellent - the stock trumpy ones gave great views of the inside of the elbows and that was about it

Bought these off Stu at the bike show in Sydney. Thought they'd vibrate but they don't so far. SIze of mirror is smaller than standard mirrors but better vision due to them sticking out further.

They're not adjustable on the move so can take a bit of fiddling around to get them right.

Oh and by the way, check to see if your 'bars are hollow. I thought mine were, but they needed drilling out. 3 hours stuffing around with drills and bits etc. Whatever they were filled with was hard. Once drilled out it's only a five minute job to fit them

I got some bar clamp type mirrors from AUSFR they look good and work gooda here is a pic.
