View Full Version : Who's in Gladstone, and what do you do for work?

Boys and girls, I'm looking to find out who is actually working in the Gladstone area (also interested in the Roma - Miles - Chinchilla area too) and what you guys are doing up there for work. Looking for people in the Oil & Gas, Power Gen, Pethrochem Industries as we are looking at setting up a workshop up there to service valves as well as do PPU work, etc...

If any of you are up there and would be up for a beer or two i would like to pick your brains to get as much info as i can for contacts.

Yeah Jim's there.

He branched out into Turnip farming and has re created the fens in yorkshire in his backyard.
On weekends he can be seen out there wearing gumboots and a mesh singlet in the 40 degree heat while chain smoking Senior Citizen ciggies and trying to do the jets on a carb from a 1976 Ford Transit.
