After reading about some failed blueslip experiences online (after market indicators! Really?), I got shivers down my neck when it's my turn to get a blueslip. I know this question has probably been asked before but search wasn't kind to me. I've bought my bike from QLD and it's currently registered but need to change the ergo to NSW. I don't have any of the original parts such as exhaust or indicators, lights and so on. Has anyone with streetfighter been in this situation? Are there any street fighter friendly shops in NSW that you know of?

Didn't have a mud guard, number plate did the job. Got it as a starting project and finished it (will upgrade some parts in the future)

I've installed a mudguard (gonna come off after!)

Bike in great mechanical condition with no any kind of leak. Please help if you know anywhere or anyway. Cheers

No shop will stick their neck out for someone off the street without a friendly reference nowadays.
The mechanics I know wont even do that.
But from looking at your pics and considering you need a blue slip you might need to do the following.
Relocate blinkers and tail light onto the mud guard.
I cant see the blinkers on the front of the bike. If they are intergrated into the front light you may need to add ones on stalks.

It may be considered to loud with that muffler.
These are annoying point I know but blueslips are much harder than pinks here nowadays.
You might just have to take it in expecting it to fail then address the points it failed on. You dont have to pay for a re inspection if you complete the changes within 14 days.

And take it to someone who usually does cars.

Bingo, Chris!

I lucked on to a guy near me that hadn't done bikes before.
He said "you got here alive so the brakes obviously work" then checked that all the lights worked and it was job done.

Could you share the location?

most states have a nice list of box's to tick, can be found online and is easy to follow(45 dec rear fender rule etc)
see what stands out and have a look over the bike much easy than quess work imo.

Not sure about NSW but here anything that needs a ticket
I always make sure if has 2 mirrors, a silencer, indicators (not tiny)
and a longer rear guard ( 45-degrees from the spindle)
apart from the obvious stuff like 2 brake lights and dipped / main and a horn.

Maybe a bit OTT and you can argue some of it, but everything
is reusable on the next bike and I've never had one fail.

Just spoke to a bike shop and showed the photo. They said the rear mud guard has to come out towards the end of tyre until its adjucent to the end of tyre. Front indicators must be 30cm apart if not original. Rear tail light/plate light and indicators must be attached to the rear mudguard. The rest should be fine (they do blueslips). I'm gonna have them service the bike as well just to sweeten the deal! Thanks guys
