Wow - some people try the weirdest things to get out of negative feedback.

Hmmm....have a look at some of the latest things he's bought:

I'd really query if this was a legitimate excuse for somebody to get out of paying.Firstly.

The police do not do formal mental health assessments registered medical practioners do this..

When somebody is "detained" under section 10 they are usually taken to the local ED department or the local CATT ( Crisis Assessment Treatment Team) are contacted to carry out the formal mental health assessment, Usually, but not always, if the individual is deemed to be suffering from a significant mental health deteriation, eg., a psychotic episode either drug induced or due to an acute episode of a pre existing mental health condition or the individual has expressed and/or demonstrated suicidal ideation and/or intent then the individual is usually but not always transferred to local psych inpatient unit as an involuntary patient for further assessment and monitoring.

Significantly patients do not get transferred to a rehab unit by the police and usually any referral to any rehab unit ( whether it be for drugs/alcohol or mental health rehab) is done after any acute episode has subsided and the individual has met the admission criteria for said rehab unit. This usually follows treatment from either community based services or inpatient services.

I think the guy is yanking your chain Pete and I'd report this to Ebay( if indeed the offer he made you was a good offer :D)

Or maybe he's just been reading ASF ;)

im not bothered by it ,i knew he wouldnt be a payer when i checked his ebay feedback and the gay items he ,she was buying, but i thought by posting his name up everywere it could serve to warn others, lol ,il wait 1 week then open an unpaid item case and get him booted off ebay.

As a buyer he cant get negative feedback (They changed that years ago), You can write a neg comment but only on the positive feedback you give him as that is the only option (Against Ebay bullshit rules/policies to write neg on positive feedback but what else can you do?) & you can open an unpaid item dispute after 4 days, Probably wont get him booted unless he has had 2 other non payment strikes but it gets him closer
If the fellow in the catwoman costume actually wins it you can offer the bike to the second highest bidder, Thats if they genuinely want to buy it too?

I would just write on jitend2036 (http://myworld.ebay.com.au/jitend2036/)'s feedback "NEG mentally unstable under sec 10 health act - no payment" or similar, it is being truthful & it is what he told you

If all goes well for you a genuine buyer may sniper a bid in the last few seconds & you may sell it without any hassles
I put bids in on goodies when it gets down to 5 seconds left, The other bidders must think they have won the item until their page is refreshed

If you have more than one bidder, you can always do the 2nd chance offer to the next highest bidder.

But you should report that nutcase to eBay anyway.

I hate the "watchers", you list rare unobtainable bits or stuff at bargain prices and end up with a heap of enquires and people watching the auction yet nobody fuckin bids.

I had an old 40's valve radio for sale in working order listed and had 38 watchers and only 1 cunt bid on it.

His feedback shows he has bought something from here>

Might partly explain the mental instability

I love watching stuff that I might have and I'm interested in it's value. or just to see how much stuff is worth.

I don't understand the problem Peter..

Bidders can retract bids and sellers can cancel bids or stop the auction and sell on the other places the bike is advertised and you've still got a few hours to go before your auction is over.

I assumed the auction had finished and the winner has decided not to pay up (??). Obviously, if the auction is still going then bids can be retracted / cancelled.
