ZX10r tripple clamps to Z1000

I have purchased a complete 06 ZX10R front forks, It is in transit as I write this. Has anyone tried this swap yet? If I can find one, I'd like to get a Z1000 upper triple clamp so I can mount my handlebars. Does anyone know what is the best year Z1000 upper triple clamp to use? Does anyone have one for sale? I have the lower ZX10R triples. Will the Z1000 top triple line up properly with the ZX10R lower triple? If this swap has been posted before, I'd love to find it.

hey mark, i am using 05 Z1000 triples to hold 05 ZX363 forks and they fit perfectly! im fairly sure the Z1000 and ZX636 run the same forks....
