View Full Version : FOR SALE - FJ1100 in Brisbane

Hi guys,

I've had this thing sitting in the garage for about a year thinking that I'll do something with it "one day".

Anyway, that ain't gonna happen and it's now got it's marching orders.

It runs - although it's a bit rough (probably needs a carb clean), blows a bit of smoke (rings I think). I did a compression test on it when I got it - 150 - 120 - 120 - 150. All came up to 150 with a squirt of oil.

Also the clutch slave cylinder has decided to stop working (it was working when I got it). Tyres are pretty much fucked, same with the chain and sprockets.

Battery is good and everything electrical works (starts easily). Tank has a tiny ding but there's no rust, seat is good. It's got Suzuki indicators up front so it's extra awesome :D Also has a modified Triumph front guard up front too.

$800 to anyone here who might want it or it'll go on eGay in the next few days.

Ha - funny you should say that....

I sold the motor and carbs to a Nostalgia race guy, then sold the rest of the rolling chassis to a mate of a mate of a mate that had a good running FJ with shit bodywork. The other day I hear his ignitor went AWOL and set his entire wiring loom on fire (or, near enough). So he ripped the loom and ignitor off the carcass I sold him and he's back on the road again. Good times.
