Anybody know the minimum width for indicators on the ass end of your bike in Vic ? Thinking of making a intergrated tail light assembly for the Honda from scratch. I know the lights need to have a red reflector and use correct colour LEDS is no issue to get. Anything other than the spacing (think its 300mm but just checking).

i think its 230mm on the rear and 300mm on the front

FYI (a little known fact) Front indercators can be white light but rear must be amber.

I heard a rumor a little while back that they dont in vic now , along with not having to display a rego sticker as of 1 JAN 2013 !

I heard about it happening in NSW, but didn't think Vic was doing it as well

I was told as of 1 jan Vicroads will post you out a bill but no rego sticker , you just pay and play no sticker needed . Guess I'll find out more soon enough first rego of the year bike wise is in feb should get the bill soon enough.

I just got my nsw rego renewal, no sticker needed as the nsw cops use plate recognition cameras. Well, that's what it says in the propaganda leaflet they sent.

Same deal in Vic , prob same reason along with saving coin. Glad I didnt lash out and buy a tube holder lol

Well found out today from Vicroads and other sorce's I trust (before and after vic roads) That a E mark is no longer needed in vic 240mm between centres for rear 300 for front . Must be visable from 30 M for indicators and brake light up to an angle of 30 deg tail light must be visable to 200m in "normal" conditions she didnt say if this was daylight but I assume not. Tail lamp should not be in excess of 7 watts. Must have red reflector big enough to be seen from 200m at night . So easy as Diy tail light for me.

There are different type of sizes for different car and different model but according to me 32 front and 55 is front from my side.....
