whats the deal> regulator

i have to relocate my regulator/rectifier..
does it have to breathe? does it get hot/how hot (if so will it melt undertray plastic?? can it get wet or not?

Mate the one on my blade was orig mounted direct to frame because it had to be earthed to the body or it didnt work so im quessing that yours will be the same.

yes it does` get warm but not enough to melt the plastic i woulnt think.

Hi Funkenfresh, it dose need to get a good air flow or else they fail prematurely it should not melt your plastic though as mine almost touches the side of my seat unit.
