Hi,

I have a DR650 dual sport and want to customise it. I am interested in putting a single sided swing arm in it. Does anyone have any knowledge about such a mod? I guess I just need to find a swing arm with the same dimensions as the frame. If anyone knows anything about this, let me know.

Generally I am looking to customise my DR650. I want to give it a bit of aggression as the 1997 look is looking pretty dated.

First things first though, the gearbox needs replacing. I hear the engine is almost easier just to replace as the gearbox is in the middle of it and the overall cost wouldn't be too much more. If anyone has any DR engines hanging about, also let me know :-)

If anyone in the Brisbane area is keen to customise a DR650, I'm happy to have a chat as I'm not very experienced at this, perhaps we could come to an arrangement.

Welcome to the psycho ward.
My brother rides a 2010 DR 650 (1 of 5 bikes) and in the process of Motarding it. here's a good place for parts.
