Has anyone attempted to fit the original (low profile) 1052 cam cover to a Bandit engine? It doesn't run and idler gear like the 1052.
As far as I can see they will fit, but the 1052 cover does not have the rubbing block for the cam chain.
I am not sure if this is likely to by an issue or not.
Any one got any experience/advice with this one.
I am trying to rebuild my race motor over the Xmas break and I would like to run the earlier (better looking) cover if I can.
