Hey guys I'm on the hunt for a enclosed trailer to move from Melbourne to Brissy in March next year,
I just missed out on a old 8x5 furniture trailer for $500 SPEWING!

If anyone has anything going let me know or even better if you have a trailer down here that you need up
There........ I'll take it for you....

No idea yet mate.. Depends on work really( roofing or labouring) but about Chermside distance from the city, somewhere with space and a shed
Somewhere not stuck up but not too began either, I haven't been to Brissy since I was 13.
Any suggestions?

As Rod said, that trailer hire is the best idea. A mate hired 1 from adelaide to Ballarat, it cost him 200 for the weekend, and he didnt have to return it. Just left it at a depot in Ballarat.

Good to be able to spend a bit extra & own the trailer but its a few more $'s to fork out, Keep searching gumtree or ebay>

Just pointing out 2 places not to move to, Have not been there for years so I could not say which would be the better areas & that would depend on what your looking for, Where you need to work etc etc, Skipping Sydney though I see, Brisbane will always be one of the better cities to live in, Adelaide is pretty good though from what I have read but does not have the same climate, Brisbane is in a pretty good spot for that

I wouldn't bank on that.
I read it can be a barrel of laughs though.

Prefer the Northside myself but plenty of people will tell you the Southside, Ipswich or the Gold and Sunshine Coasts are the go. Really quiet in my area, not a lot of crime, 30 minutes to the airport and great back roads up Mount Mee, Mount Glorious, Peachester Range etc.
Good and bad areas all over I suppose and depends on work too. There are certain areas you really dont want to live as Ninja said.

I lived about 10 klms out of the city at Holland Park West about 10 years ago and loved it. Nice and quiet fuck all crime and still close enough to cab it into the valley or similar for a night out....

What about a cheap "ebay special" bike trailer and just temp box it up with form ply and good screws. When you get there pull box apart and hey presto bike trailor.

Goodna actually seemed alright back then but I see now it is a bit of a red spot according to the crime statistics in the link Jinx posted

Alright compared to what Ninja :D. A couple of mates lived in Goodna/Gailes back in the 70s and it was rough in those days. They used to send all the new Poms to the choice areas on the Southside of Brisbane in those days.

Nothing to stop you going bigger with the box than the trailor. Just keep and eye on balance point etc for ball weight. Dont want to be swinging all the way up lol

all sorted! just scored an 8X5 enclosed trailer for $672 BUCKS!!!

got it cheap cos the wiring was "fucked".......

"the dog chewed through the cable, i joined the wires back together, but it still dossen't work the guy said"

i plugged it in and it nearly stalled the falcon, so i unplugged it quick smart!

he had nicley twisted, yellow to yellow, white to white, etc. and then twisted the whole lot together! and of corse blown all the globes.

so i seperated them all, got new globes out of the glove box put them in and drove off.... THANKS FOR COMMING!
