My mechanic has an account with the importer I'm getting one through him a bit cheaper, not sure what "your" price would be but I can ask if you want.

Even if it's a little dearer you at least have local support if something goes wrong with it.

or you can call him direct (08) 8377 0028 ask for Jim tell him "Big Mike" with the Z9 told you to ring him.

How do the prices compare with these?
I get most of my zed parts from this mob.

I had the normal dyna but allowed it to be commandered for another customers bike hence the "deal" on the 2000.

yep by all accounts they're the go.

they seem to be on par with most online prices I've seen.

the deal with the local distributor is you have to buy x amount of product per year to be given trade prices not sure how it works in US but I've seen a 2000 package online on sale for $380USD just keep checking the drag racing parts websites for sales.

its one of those things that a bit extra in oz is worth the hopefully better surport

but prob is the only way to go with these motors imo
dyna s works well (heavy on bat and not as much adjust)
dyna 4000 extra not worth it unless you want to run drag 8 plug head and need the 2 step(would be fun at the lights)
so the 2000 with mini coils is my chose can always add the two step for the lights lol
