Trying to find a carb sync to do my zx6r and sv650. Looking for a motion pro In oz but its not going to happen. I've rang Peterstevens in ftg and ringwood, been to bursons, repco, auto barn, dynoverks and mick hone in box hill and nothing.. Could build 1 but not in the mood for it so does anybody know where to find a sync guage with 4 on it? Can order it from the states but they say 15-20 work days before I could receive it..

Aah well. What I said was I've got a carb sync tool that you can use if you like. Whereabouts in Melbourne are you? I'm in Ringwood. Send me your email addy and I'll send a pic of it to you so you can see if it's the sort of thing you're looking for. It's the one with four metal rods and I think it's called carbtune if memory serves me.

How much are they in Aus? Borrowing one for now might be an easy option but......

Pay for express postage from the USA & you should have it in around a week?

I receive some priority items in around a week

2 lengths of clear plastic tube about 4m long each bent into a U shape with some auto transmittion fluid in the middle "manometre" works great (far better than cheap non oil filled gauges anyhow). Cost you about $10 .

done that last time and worked out ok.. Now i have 2 bikes and thought it would be just quicker have it on stand by.. oh well i will just have to make it or not bother about it.. Just trying to get the bike running sweet while i wait for the rear line to come in..

Much better.

My limited experience with motion pro tools = crap.

I have a set of 4 on stand with small tank etc , tube works better (better damping than the non oil filled gauges on the stand) auto trans fluid works well about the right viscosity. Water is a little loose , and bounces around a little to much at idle.

That's the last carb sync I made with auto fluid. Worked ok but really jumpy and not that steady..
