Betty has more km on her than I do and a busted box , not really worth rebuilding the box and I've Got another 600 motor BUT why put the stock motor back in when everything else isnt stock !

Cubes = grunt and with a quick browse of the interweb photo storage looks to me like a 1990 gpx750r motor might just fit ! Front motor mounts are the same , rear bottom look to be identical (block slightly wider but mounts recessed on 750 as opposed to flush on 600) top look close. Frames look very similar though 600 frame rear uprights are almost vertical and 750 look a little swept back.

Anybody have a 1989/1990 gpx750r they can run a tape over the mounts ? Will need all the plastics off to get to the rear mounts. An easy extra 20 hp would be nice in betty.

More concerned with "if" the motor will squeeze in the hole more than if the motor mounts line up (thats not so hard to fix)

There are several on evilbay atm , if they stay cheap enough I might just jump and see what happens. Can get a whole donk with carbs loom and ignitor for $500 but a whole bike for the same sort of money and wreak bike is more me. Bonus is if donk dont fit I can just add the whole bike to the colection of jumk in shed/container
