I thought that that was a Vincent but then thought naaw couldn't be. It looks fuckin awesome and would love more info on what your old man's done to it. Hooge rear sprocket I notice. He's not going to stunt on it is he? Welcome aboard by the way.

yeah it's a beast of a thing! I think that sprocket might be one of his old speedway ones haha, We have a bigger one i think its about a 82t or something haha it's almost as big as the rim its on! Just had a full rebuild and its now a 1200, seat and tank is all hand made ally. upside down front end with twin disks so it handles better and he can actually pull it up! custom exhaust. just looking around for a decent headlight that would suit the look we are going for. plus got all the stock bits to change it back to standard if need be. The only problem is you cant put a real big tyre on the ass cos of the chain. I think it's the same size tyre as my front on the R1 haha atleast he'll have fun lighting it up everywhere! Also putting his old road race sidecar back together with another 1200 viny motor so cant wait for that! hopefully be racing next year!

Haha yeah he did a loooong long time ago, back in the sydney showground days. On a vincent speedway sidecar, then got into road racing with another vincent road race sidecar and ended up with lap records all over the place and a shit load of trophies. He gave it away for the last 20yrs and it just sat in the shed until i gave him enough shit about it and we pulled it out and its also on its way back to its former glory days. it's pretty much ready to go back together, just waiting on the fresh 1200 to be rebuilt and then bolt it all together! I'll chuck up some pis of that soon too. The plan is i'll be racing it next year, but he thinks he still has what it takes so we'll see who gets to ride it!

Ahh sidecar, no worries. The father-in-law is Phil Crump so I thought I may have found another old lost mate for him.

Fighting over who rides the Vincent? I reckon that will be a common problem wherever you take it.
