hey guys, bin poking round this forum for a while, love fighters, wanted to build a zx9 fighter, but i ended up stacking my gsxr and decided to fight it instead of selling it off.. few pics, little bit old now, its changed a little, it has a black front rim, tail is black, bar end mirrors, and the wiring re-taped.. its a work in progress, have plans for it, just need the $$$

srad's make good fighters but the huge wasp arse has to be ditched,
i dunno what suzuki were thinking when they thought a huge arse was a good thing,...
a big bum is never a good thing :D
can you take a side on photo, so i can have a play on mspaint :D
cheers, keep up the good work (i don't mean crashing :D)

I put an r1 tail on mine dude, but its still too long.I think with these things you need to build one nice and short because of the wheel base

welcome mate, were you getting around near pleystowe late last week wearing a black lid with flames on it? as for the tail do a search(up in the top right corner) on tails n subframes that should give you plenty of ideas.

dont worry mate, the SRADS can turn up pretty nicely
there is a bloke on here from canada with a nice SRAD gixxer
or check out exbens or my tillers
if u want my advise, ditch those heavy wheels for some later model ones
totally transforms the whole bike!

Welcome aboard Shane. Don't let a cash shortage hold you back. I've been broke for years and still managed to make a truely unique and original fighter. Or maybe that's why I'm broke, lol. Either way, good luck with it and I look forward to seeing how you progress.

1200 $ are round about 700 Euro...right?!
Thats much to much man!!!
Look at the german or english fight-stuff-dealer-pages...
200 Euro for a tail, 100 Euro and 2 bottle Jack for the guy who built the tailframe...100 Euro for electric, light, paint or airbrush, seat and bla bla thinks like that yoo need for it.
And from the rest of yoor money:
...champagne for da girls!!...;)

Ditto fimp - I used my own back end but bought an old r6 tailpiece - modded that the subframe and seat. Completely finished and looking great and it cost me under $500

Looks good that should tidy the rear up a bit but you would need to shorten that number plate hanger I recon.

16-12-2007, 05:52 PM
yeah, its not staying like that..
lewis

It looks like that tail would cover the original subframe, maybe only needing the rear part that bolts on to be slightly modded. Is it cheaper without the subframe? Would look sweet man!

from what i can find out it comes as a complete assembly only...

hey guys, thought id update my little thread.. havent done much to the bike, trying to get it tuned and running abit better atm cause im broke :(... was just checking out the bike and decided i was sick of the gauges sticking out and the lights haveing to be so low, so i pulled the gauges off and moved the lights up, as i was messing round, realised that there was a fair bit of room above the lights, sat the gauges in there, perfect fit and fills it in nicely. just gotta wait for the shops to open up 2morro so i can go get some shit to mount the gauges, and lenghten some of the wiring.. should look sweet :D pics 2morro...
and i have decided against that complete tail assembly, got something else in mind now, alot cheaper, and from what i can find, and ive bin looking, no one has done it befor :D im not gona give away what it is just yet, just need to get the money together to buy what i need..
