Up for sale is my 2004 KTM 640SM that was my commuter. I have had it a year, and put 22,000ks on it.
43,000 ks, Freshly rebuilt (60kms ago) motor, piston and rings, cam chain, blah blah blah.
It has a speed triple screen attached, which looks a bit gay, but is quite effective. Also has an aprillia mille (i think) front guard so i could ride in the rain without getting covered in road grime, and fully custom hand bent brackets.
OEM R6 titanium exhaust to replace the standard one. About 400kgs lighter, and 400dB (approx) louder. But i have a baffle if you really need it.
Properly jetted carb, and i have a flatslide for it including JD jet kit that i'll let go cheap if i need to sweeten the deal.
chain and sprockets are in decent nick, but i have new front and rear sprockets that'll go with the bike.
New rear disc.
Front suspension done by trooper lu's, springs and a revalve for a fully grown human instead of a 50kg test rider. You can go over speed humps at 50 like it was flat ground, or over median strips and off gutters on your private test track.
Selling because my boss bought me a Kawasaki versys as a work bike so i don't need the supercommuto. The versys is similar to the KTM as they both have wheels but the KTM will make you grin like an idiot every time you ride.
NSW rego until February.
$4500.
