Hey all,

New member saying "alright"!

Toyed with the idea of building a streetfighter for years now but since fairings were much easier to come by in the UK I always went for the easy option but now I've got a spare ZXR750 L2 and no ch ace if getting fairings for what is call reasonable money compared to what I paid for the bike I've decided to get into my first fighter build!

I have ideas on what I'd like to acheive (900 motor, custom seat unit, Up-to-date swingarm, wheels and suspension) but we'll see how things work out!

Welcome mate. NFR was great, just like every year. As Albi said, it's about riding (or trailering for some poeple...), drinking, riding, drinking and a couple of trophy's for shits and giggles.

Post up some pics of your ride mate

Will be changing the bars at a later date; got those ones just for mocking up so I don't damage a good set! Not sure about the drag bars; prefer the Renthal MX type!

Yeah I used a cheap set of fatbars just to get mine started, Renthal is a big name but there is plenty of other good brands out there

The carbon bars above are actually sno mobile bars>

Plenty of room for controls & they are still as strong as fat bars, Also allows you to angle them down if you still want that clip on bar feel

I came across them here>
