I've got a rear wheel that would suit. Having said that I've got the whole s/arm, linkages, shock, etc, etc that the guy on Gumtree is selling. Was hoping for a bit more than $100 though :(

It's a piece of piss, you just need to machine the fuck out of everything & it goes straight in.
Of course it can be done but you'll need access to a lathe & milling machine, mine required 7 different surfaces to be machined to get the +/- 0.5mm tolerance from centreline that I was after.
Trump SSSAs are the widest out of all the SSSAs at the pivot area, VFR 750s are the narrowest so you'll be saving yourself a lot of work if you start with a VFR.

There was a bloke at AFR09 who did it with a 9 inch angle grinder, a couple of files and a dremel to cut the circlip groove. i'm not saying it's the right way to go about it but it can be done on the bodge.

HIJACK WARNING!! Out of interest how do thing a SSSA would go handling 270hp. I've been tempted a couple times but just not sure? i've heard they can twist with big HP

I know that the Ducati WSB bikes and their swing arms are completely different from a production Triumph SSSA but looking at the Triumph one they are VERY substantial and as already dointed out the widest of the SSSA's at the s/arm pivot. IMO I don't think that they'd have much problem containing 270rwbhp.......................................... .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ...but I may be wrong.
