Oberon are pretty reliable quality, even if they're all made in china the difference is one's made to some chinks quality standards, and the other is made to a large companies stringent quality standards where they sell under a reputable name whos reputation they do not want to tarnish.
The chinese guy doesn't give a shit cos he's pumping his ones out for fuck all neway.

This is my personal opinion after dealing with some dodgy chinese manufacturers (all that I dealt with were dodgy as fk).

Some of the Chinese stuff really is shit.
I use Pazzo, Renthal, Oberon etc and don't
gamble on if I'm buying quality or crap.

i have the non barend ones and think they are great

chinese stuff is still a bit sus, got some brake levers for the CBR the other week and i wouldnt use them as-is

Seriously they are fucking mirrors, what performance advantage would you get from the oberons, mine are flat so not everything behind me looks larger than life ... of course unless its large himself.

just loctite the little screws, they tend to rattle loose otherwise

I have chinese mirrors, i only got a 2 extra HP with the chinese ones... I'm sure id get over 10Hp more with good ones...

I replaces all the fasterners as soon as i got them and haven't had a problem.

I have a genuine Oberon mirror.

I turned the bar end upside down so you cant see the hole and
taped the mirror on the end of a broom handle to look for Possums.

F#ckin' useless (and illegal) small bar end mirrors.
