Intake cam fits 600 & 1100's, Did the head change between 1988 - 1996?

Couple of them in the USA but not cheap, Probably much cheaper than the wreckers here though? Have you priced one at any wreckers?>

in 1993 they changed to the w series ,for water cooled ,and ran till 1998 so no good ,for this model

the advertised part from 1992 and back would be fine

I've got an oil cooled head that has been ported, but has no cams and is for a 750..... :(

It says the part number for the intake cam is the same from 1988 to 1996, Did they still use the same cam maybe even though they went to water cooling?

Interesting how they used the same cams for the GSX 600, You'd think the 1100 would use a much bigger (Lift / duration) cam?

Sometimes you can find these old parts brand new when you search for the part number, Not much luck here but good secondhand prices

Only the 750 cams are useable, you need the 1100 head.

EVLZX are you saying that the 750 gsxr cams are the same as the 1100 ones?
The cams and head I am chasing will be going in to a GSF1200 motor.
Thanks :)

If you look at these 2 links they are for the original part numbers, if you then google the part number that has superseded the original part it comes up with a whole heaps of other bikes.

Yes according to the part numbers they are the same part. Bit odd?!

But I've used 3 different sites to verify that (time is a beautiful thing) and they all come back as the same part numbers.

Keep this site in mind for looking up your part numbers then it's just as easy as getting the part number by clicking on the part you want copy the part number and paste it into the part number search box on the top right hand side of the page, this will give you a list of models the part has been used on, makes things a lot easier when your scouring the internet for that hard to find part http://www.boltonmotorcycles.com (http://www.boltonmotorcycles.com/)
