well i found your site. i don't know how i didn't come across it before, i've been on the net with fighter stuff for a while now so i say howdy! this is a pic of my TLR in its first incarnation since i got it as a totalled 98 with 417 miles on it in 99. i have a crap load of picks on the stages in between but i will save that for later and only post a few for now. forgive the offensive yellowness of the pic it was early morning and it really altered the color for some reason.

that colour is very closec to mine.
good to see you have to use honda bits to make the zuk look good.
Welcome aboard nice ride theres a few of these popping up now.
and yes mr fimp is probly serious.

thanks for the welcome. i did want to modify the exhaust but my brother insisted that you shouldn't change the exhaust on twins especially...
due to the backpressure and other BS. i know he knows what he is talking about he has his own bike performance shop. (bike has been there for 8 months now :()
anyway, if i get another bike to use as a daily rider and beater i will be diving into the exhaust i originally wanted to do a 2 into one with a big can
like i have seen on the yoshimura dirt tracker that was used a few years back.

thanks, i am still going with orange but i think it may be similar to that on zx6s and 10s with the metal flake in it.
and unfortunatley i believe your right about fimp. i spent a bit on here last night looking and reading..........:D

you have Gold tops growing in your grass, boil up a few in water and drink up.Or simply just slice em up and put em on a honey sandwich.Pure "magic".

Welcome man. Outstanding bike, TLR fighters are really turning my crank at the moment, cant wait to see the end results. Good choice on the tail too... the TLR stock tail is fugly as.

Davo we used to hit Second Valley about an hours drive south of Adelaide every year about this time.... for just that reason... Are there really spiders crawling on me man ?? MAN... MAAAAAAN!!! :D

well its been a slow month or so on the bike project but this is how it sits now. i've been around just been real busy and hassling with a friggin ebay auction gone sour. my brother welded up the headlight bracket. i am not convinced that i like it yet but we'll see once it gets powder and the headlight gets paint. i can always change it.

I don't usually like those front lights mate, but that looks really clean on there. The black frame & swingarm paint job plus the new tail end have slimmed it down no end. Shit loads better. Good work. Looking forward to seeing this one all painted up and back together.

fimp, this was my least favorite part of the project. 15 hrs, 150 or so splices, solders, shrink tubing, then stuffed in wiring loom conduit. i am happy with the results. battery, fusebox, and starter relay are now neatly in the tail. originaly it was all balled up and stuffed in the headlight bucket except the fuses which were on a bracket under the guages. one of the sad parts is it isn't none what was involved in doing it. i hate wiring. good luck

thanks :D

the battery up the back wasnt too painful
negative lead works perfectly, and i made up a longer +ve

there is so much shit, i dont think it will fit in my new subframe
i was considering just mounting up all the hardware and dropping it off to an auto-electrician with the wiring diagram and a to-do list

i just dont want to ge stuck in bumfuck, new south wales at 2am cos the motor decides to turn itself off :(

im hoping i wont have to hack into the loom as much as what u have done there
fuck me, that looks like someone ate a pack of smarties, a few tins of spagetti and then drank a dozen lagers :)
