They look to be a bit different but if the mounting holes line up it may fit?

The 06 tank looks squarer at the back, What are your plans? Are you fitting an 06 tail on something or do you just need a new seat for an 06 R6?

Im gunna say yes not based on anything other than the fact you have a grinder and like to cut shit up

I have a 2006 top plastic (broken but will make a good start to a mould for CF unit) and have a bottom plastic on the way. The 2006 subframe is gay lightweight magnesium and exy to buy secondhand so I though a CF subframe intergrated into the under plastic might be the go.

Intergrated Tail lights a cheap as , so that leaves the seat (rear seat will be cowl no passengers on this puppy) I can get a 2000 seat cheap (as its ripped and fucked ) Bolt location isnt a big issue as I'll be making the receptical it bolts to , but fit to the back section of the top plastic is my main concern.

If someone has a 2006 original seat they want to sell feel free to let me know.

Its all sacrelegious anyhow as its going on a suzuki.

Looking at the two in line drawing , looks to me like I'll have to go with a 2006 .

Some listings would suggest that 03 up to 07 models may be the same from what I could find?

Thanks mate , looked on ebay (but my account didnt bring those seats up , even when I tryed several times) as soon as I pulled the number off your link it came straight up. Might have good go over my ebay settings, think I might be missing out on some bargins.

Just found out they didnt list they will post overseas , and my account was screening them out.

9/10 people are missing out because they are unable to find all the goodies

Some sellers will totally restrict overseas buyers from bidding but I usually bid on an item if I want it bad enough when they dont list Aus/worldwide postage & then some sellers jump up & down & say I dont send items overseas blah blah, Some refuse but when they realise it is usually only a few extra dollars to send items over here they realise they are missing out on sales & more bids that increase there prices for stuff they are selling

I bid & won a set of damn nice hand controls for my ZXR ($10ea with throttle & choke cables) & received an invoice for $18 postage so I paid straight up, The seller gets back to me the next day & has a winge when he realised I was in Aus & says it will cost way more than $18 blah blah, Probably going to try & charge $40+ so I gave him a link to the USPS rate calculator & asked for the weight & dimensions & I was told the postage is $25 so I only had to send him an extra $7 woopeedooo no big deal, I think he's calmed down now + I saved him relisting (more fees) them as no one else bid on them

I just received a NEW OEM Kawasaki exhaust rocker shaft from Africa for $20 (incl postage), A new OEM timing chain & (long) guide from Israel, Just bought (on the way) an as new clear style lens LED taillight from Bulgaria, A set of new Viton o-rings for the intake manifolds (44mmID x 2mm thickness) from the Czech Republic
That pissed me off, I shopped around & found a (Wholesaler) place near Sydney that specialises in O-rings/seals etc, Rang them & they told me yeah we can get the 44mmID x 2mm Viton o-rings but was told I had to order them from a local retailer as they are a wholesaler, I phoned the local bearing place they recommended & told them I contacted their supplier & all was good & ordered the o-rings as mentioned, Then I get a call a week later & the f-wits tell me yeah we got your o-rings but they are 45mm ID, They can shove em
Ordered them from ebay much cheaper & received the correct ones all the way from the Czech Republic in a week no mucking round, Sick of these business's winging bout buying online??? They wonder why?

Anyway I guess im saying (Jim Beam Honey tastes nice) it pays to shop around

Yeah I buy stuff from overseas all the time , just didnt realise ebay was sensoring my searches. I've bought Ti plate tube rod from europe, at 1/4 the price of here in Aus. Carbon fiber was cheap from the states if you bought a whole roll (even with they're fucked up rip off postage prices, but its going back up atm I'm betting someone is buying it all up over there again atm).

And some stuff I order I just cant buy here in Aus , eather distributors just dont bother to stock it as the consumption isnt enough to justify it , or they dont even know it exsists. High temp epoxy resins for a start are a right pain in the ass to find here in Aus , distributors have it but unless you want a 44 of it they dont want to know you.

There is probably a tweek you need to do on ebay ;)

Yeah pretty much sums it up for most business's here in OZ, There is some out there that know what is going on around the world but most seem to be 10-20 years behind the times, Most business's here that are making money are either bringing stuff over themselves or are atleast switched on to whats available & supply hard to get parts/items etc + have good service, That seems to be harder to find nowadays too, A few people seem to knock Americans on here but I get damn good service & prices from a few shops over there
