Just got home from Sydney, terrible place, and for the last 160km it just pissed down.
I don't think there's a dry spot on me, gloves feel like a wet sponge boots are buckets, I'm gonna get me car licence and buy a bloody car.
Oh and I went there to see a wanka for all of 10 minutes in his nice office overlooking hyde, fkers.

When I was 17 I did 5am starts, on my lil 250 riding to work in the rain, and if it wasn't raining it was icy , an hour of that to get to work I really don't miss it.

I only got my P's for a car in January after having my bike licence for 16 years. Primarily so i could drive home from the hospital after we had our second kid.
With wet weather gear so much better than it used to be, i'd still rather be on a bike in the rain than in a car. But i do agree that cold and wet sucks arse.

3 years of riding to Marrickville from bondi at 2am for a driving job on a kickstart XR 250... Nothing like winter and rain.

I used to like riding the dr650 in the rain was easy to slide it out, but it was considerably lighter than the 14.
But yesterday I got caught wearing mesh pants didn't have the overs with me, had all the vents on the jacket open, and my boots aren't waterproof and I haven't bought a pair of waterproof gloves since my last 4 pairs of dri riders that really weren't waterprrof at all (over 7 years ago), plus most waterproof gloves are a bit too bulky.
And I had the fkin gauges blinking empty at me and I couldn't find a servo, I really hate Sydney.

Doing it with shit tyres is fun, passing a B double a year back open the old girl up beside the rear tralor (pissing down cats n dogs in a shit storm of foam/spray/shit off the truck) wondered why the revs went up quick but no go faster , took about 2 sec to twig I'd lit the back end up big time at $1.30 beside a big fucking truck that prob couldnt see me anyhow lol wasnt game to shut down so just kept on and she slowly picked up some bite , went right to bike shop for a fresh tyre and home for some jocks lol
