Hi all,
Moved over from WA riding a stock looking (until the moneysuckers leave home) XJR1300, done a few mods internally to make the enginebreather better.
Have only done 2 rides on QLD roads. Lot more fun than in WA!But my ageing rubber had to go. Went to MC tyres and was recommended by (Mono?)to join up.
Looking at getting out more often on some rides, you guyshave a crew going to Moto GP this year?
It was also too far (and straight) to do it from WA, but I’mlooking at doing the ride this year, hopefully to see Casey ride his last rideon the Island.

Hopefully see ya out there

he may have a rape dungeon, but he won't be raping very well without the help of his missus for a while due to that pesky shoulder.

Welcome mate.

Welcome Spag.

Russ / "Sharky" is up here in Brisbane too,
he likes and knows his FJ-XJR Yam's.

Plenty of great rides around S/E Qld.
Malaney/Somerset Dam/Mt Mee/Mt Glorious / Split Yard Creek /
Queen Mary Fall's / Beachmont / Advance Town / O'Rilleys etc etc.

Im in a couple of Sportsbike groups that ride every Sunday.
Normaly between 300 and 700k days at an "interesting" pace
if you get stuck for company.

Welcome aboard mate. Yep, there a heap of guys going to the GP this year, BUT, the group I know going from the Gold Coast are flying down and hiring a camper this year. IF you get down there, just look out for the ASF shirts, there will be the usual mobs from all over the country there.
