Just read on a Busa forum..........




Yesterday Maj went 256mph at the WORLD OF SPEED meeting at Bonneville,
and backed up the run today with a 250mph
Apperantly setting the fastest run on a sit on bike in SCTA history of 253mph
Congrats!!!

have not had a chance to log in for ages, goto get around to the full membership thing again, just get slack about other stuff when im trying to get the bike built for something like this
Have a vid of the 256mph run, gets a bit shaky near the end when the front tire chunked. but there was no way i was letting off untill i was passed the timer at the end of the mile

Kim who some of you have met has the 750 up to a 229mph record now too, beating my best on that bike

Doing the Cook Shootout from Friday,Kim and myself running for FIM world records
Current 750 world record is 204mph and the 1350-2000cc record is 232mph
If we dont fuck it up , chances are very good to take them in the first few passes
but what i would realy like is to see just how much faster we can get each bike

Booster, thats just bloody awesome! You and your mate have balls of steel to ride a motorcycle at those speeds. And you had a front tyre chunk out!!! Just fucking awesome mate, well done to you both, good luck on friday's event.
