98' fazer 600. why no 2nd hand parts available for these? & what years did they run?

Hi guys.
Ive been trying to source parts for a 98 fazer 600 and cant find any second hand bits.
Ive tried calling some of the wreckers, listed on find-a-part, tried different websites but found nothing!

are these a rare bike or people just hang onto them?
does anyone know any wreckers that specialize in these bikes?

also can anyone let me know what years they were produced for?

parts must be bloody rare for these.

You should check via the diagrams that the parts your searching for aren't also used on another more common bike.
