Im tinkering with the idea of extending the length of my swing arm on my TRX850. Im not going to be dragging it I just like the look... now I dont want to turn it into a street dildo nothing that extreme.

What are my options ???

All suggestions welcome and thanks in advance....

it will be alot harder to corner due to longer wheel base most people only do this mod for drag racing

I had an extra 4 inches (he he) on my 7/11, the JMC arm could be adjusted.
With normal road riding, you didn't really notice it much. When it was cranked over in a corner, it would light up the back wheel instead of driving forward. I remember spinning up the back at a trackday, making the back end drift out, looking over my shoulder and seeing my mates eyes as big as dinner plates. He was trying to overtake around the outside when my back wheel starting making the gap a fair bit smaller.

I had a TRX back in 96, i don't think it has the power to brake traction, but it will wallow around corners. Why not just change the seat to something shorter? instead of long seat with even longer swinger for "the look", put on a shorter seat, get the look without losing cornering.

Drifting the tail end is nothing new to me with the supermoto but I dont think its worth the hassle a and loss of sharpness for 2 to 4 inches as for the shorter seat I have already spent too much time and money putting a R6 tail unit and sat on the TRX.
I tried to post some pictures here last nigh and failed

Thanks anyway lad I appreciate the info.

Owned one bike with a 3" to 4" stretch,
ridden a couple of others.

Good for the drags,
Good for clowning about leaving long snakey black lines.

OK for sensible "cop watching me" type riding.

CRAP if you like corners and want to play with anything sporty.
If you have any sort of ability you'll notice it real quick and
wont be happy. Yes, you can go around corners with fat tyres
and long arm's there's a good reason why most sportsbikes dont.

Ben should clean his bike. Look how much black shit is on his cock after pushing it through there.

He does like to feel the breeze as he rides hey? It was probably that dirty before he pushed it through the bars anyway.
