Only thing I can say is:

B-King masters are radials, Gen2 Busa's aren't,
but they look Fugly and dont suit clip-on's.

Im looking at similar stuff.

I'd expect someone on here to recommend either aftermarket Brembo
or a radial off a ate model GSXR but I wouldnt have a clue on models.

The whole setup on the ZX14 does a good job, radial nissins I think they're all the same model suzuki kawasaki...
You need to get the matching clutch master to go with it though :D

How do you like the lever to feel?

19x20 ratio gives minimal movement on the lever and the least amount of effort to give full pressure.

19x18 ratio gives more lever movement and a greater amount of effort required for full pressure but on the positive side you get more feel.

The Brembo RCS master gives you the best of both worlds as it allows you to change the ratio between the two and is a quality bit of kit if you can afford one.

on my SV i had gixxer radial brakes (and front end) and the standard MC, and it pulled up quite well. On the RSV i have the Brembo radial brakes and the standard (non radial) MC and it pulls up extremely well...

What i'm saying is that you don't NEED a radial master cylinder just because you have radial brakes... in case that's what you were thinking.

Spot on.

As I posted in this and a previous thread,
Busa and B-King use the exact same calipers.
One has a Radial master, one doesnt.

You don't need a radial master.
I love the setup on the zx, great power and feel.
Of course I'm coming from a zrx1200, and there are plenty of people that are happy with the zrx or busa setup after swapping out the calipers and or rebuilding the master.

you buy the radial master an lever then you need to buy your fluid re-septic-al,then the switches ,lol the list is endless ,but no matter how many emails you send these guys they wont sell to you until, bc even though youve told them exactly what you want ,some redneck ,sends an email back ,which goes i need more info.lol

Seriously though good choice, keep an eye on the US as it seems they can't ride very well and I see a lot of them going really cheap off bikes that haven't even been broken in.

ozzy1100
10-09-2012, 09:51 PM
could be just looked the same beside the 14r in the shop when i was takeing notes for my build but thought they where the 14r's
because they are the same base bike

EVLZX

The reservoir is oblong shaped on the GTR, ZX has pee cups.

There's a lot different between the models.

are u takeing the piss mate ?
one is a intergrated res and one is a remote res but the master its self looks the same

EVLZX
10-09-2012, 10:37 PM
The master is the same, think the 10 and 6 have the same one as well.
I'm pretty sure they're all 19mm Nissin's, almost all the radial masters out there on the Japs are 19mm Nissin, but there are a few odd ones floating around.

I was referring to differences between the models in general.

ozzy1100

i was thinking the same but didnt know as i only looked at the 14s and havnt looked at rest close up
but fair to say over the last 20 yrs both kwaka and suz have shared across models and between them a lot of the same brake parts
so wouldnt be a bad bet
