so i picked up a 91 model gsx1100g shaft driver for a swap of a old ute i had as a shooting rig , so this is my first suzuki oil boiler so what can people tell me about it , i can tell you its farking heavy , the throttle is jammed so carbies off , master cylinders are dry so prob a rekit in them and the tank is a bit rusty inside so ill try and find a replacement , tell me is the frame the same as any other models tank and plastics wise ???
thanks in advance

Don't quote me but usually shaft drive frames are wider than chain drive frames at the swing arm pivot. Other than that I've got nothing.

Build a rigid chopper out of it, shafties make good chops apart from that they were not very exiting.

My xs1100 shaft was always keen to lock the rear if you were a little to keen dropping a gear early at roundabouts, made for some quick learning.

okay cool , wasnt planning of doing much with it , get it running regod , i got a set of flat drag bars there and maybe some dominators on it and just ride it , the missus is always on my case coz the vfr is single seat only so at least she can get on the back of this one
