Ok,as the title says,It's the first helmet with a rear view mirror in it.....i don't know if it'll catch on,i don't reckon i'll buy one....but it doesn't look all that bad....

Tho,might be a good thing if you live in the city, and can only see your elbows in your mirrors!!

Had them at the show today (Concours) pretty neat looking.
and seems to work well, it a little weird to get used to.. felt pretty natural, but id still be doin headchecks and normal mirror checks anyways..

They were promoting them with prototypes in 2004/2005.
Not sure when they were on sale but its been a couple of
years I think.

Just like car mirrors, i'd be more scared this would lead people to be lazy and not actually turn their heads and look around.

Didnt Steve Mcqueen and Malcolm Smith have little mirrors on the peak of their helmets in 1971?

I am sure about that helmet is do main roll in while car and drive the bike also.My suggestion is that take up the helmet during the drive. Some time in accident helmet safe our head.

I'm surprised Red hasn't already invented one of these.

Nothing exsists behind me as I'm not looking at it.

I tried one and it was shit. It might be OK for commuting, but the little rear view piece is in the way when you tucked down to ride fast and it was awkward and took a few seconds to focus on things behind you. Bar end mirrors are much easier.
