OK guys have had to have some minor knee surgery so have to look at different style of bike to ride As can no longer leave knee bent past 90 degrees for a long period of time. will be looking for either something old school or god forbid some form of cruiser. Am looking to do a swap at moment using my 05 VTR 1000.
It has new tyres new battery new chain and sprockets rego till april next yr braided lines abm bars triple clamp bar end mirrors and pegs and double bubble screen. The bag and rack will stay on. Pipes have bn de baffled and all the restrictors have bn removed from the manifold and pipes so a little extra hp there. has just over 50000 ks on clock and has also recently had new electronic keys made [ not bloody cheap ]. If someone has something to offer pls let me know as if cant trade will have to sell to get something more suiteable so even if nothing to trade make an offer. Has bn a great bike and i will hate to let her go but gotta follow the docs orders. Have attached a photo and have more if needed.

I remember riding my 996 to the specialist for my follow up after afull knee recon in 99 with a fold up walking stick in my jacket pocket. Hell, after my big acco in 2009, it took a awhile, but i got movement back.

Not being a dick, but have they said you'll never get enough movement back? Also before my first recon, i had a TRX850, that was comfy with a knee that didn't move so well (I'm about 190cms).

Positive thinking is a big thing man. Seriously.
Hooligan came back even after his monster crash when I was with him and I came back after breaking my neck. Just fight the negative and you'll be right

yeah thx guys. I am being positive but due to the new mechanics and damage done it limits my movement and the ability the knee has as a shock absorber. With my knee at a 90 degree angle the ankle is under it and toes in front of it, where as in current position my ankle is behind the knee and toes are under it. Thats why im looking old school first before i go the other route. My oldman has a z1300 and its position is at the 90 same as my old boldor was. Will find a way to continue rideing one way or another.
