GSXR 1000 2004 and 2005 Engine gaskets - same or different?

Are the engine gaskets for the K4 and K5 Gixxer 1000 same or different?

As far as I knew the K3-4 differed from the K5-6 as they changed a few things around. However when I'm looking around for a gasket kit for my K4 they are showing up as for K4 & K5.

I am quite sure that the K5 engine doesn't bolt into a K4 frame

I was under the impression the K5-K6 were the same too mate. Stupid question but the gaskets aren't for a 750 ? The 750's were always a year ahead.

I actually asked him cos I was sure that the 1000 is 04 and 05 are different.

I believe the 750 are a year ahead as you said. I might but them anyways and if they don't fit I'll ask for my cash back.

1000 K1 & K2, are pretty much the same, as are the 1000K3 & K4, the big change came with the 1000K5. The 750 K4 & K5 are pretty much the same bike, the big change came with the 750K6, the 600 K4 & K5 are pretty much the same bike and again the big change came with the 600K6. The 600 and 750 K4 and K5 share pretty much most parts other than the motors.
