I've not been on here for quite a while,so for anyone who can remember me ...I'm the one who cut up a blackbird and stuck a Ducati back end on it.

anywho...

the bike goes hard, very hard. I have recently found my limit, 2 1/2 times the national speed limit. at that point the front end became very loose, front wheel skimming along the road, bars very light and the clasping of bum cheeks. obviously Mr Honda never wanted the plastics removing, but does anyone have a idea how i can keep the front end planted on the ground

id say knowing your limits is better then finding it,i always say to myself ,hey if the bloke behinds wants to go faster let him go.

Around here i'm usually limited to the cars around me, seeing as though 90% of queensland drivers would be safer to society if they were to drive shopping trollies aroudn!

sounds like your going fast enough dude. maybe a lil more weight in the front end will help???

I'd also make sure you have a damper on the front. The R1 does tend to be a bit interesting heaading down the 1/4 mile. Had to get used to the front end just skimming all the way down
