So the other day Pat's son drops off Pats new K7 GSXR1000 to have a comfort kit fitted.
His son rode it over straight from the dealer because Pat said he wouldn't even attempt to ride it like that.
So I ask why did you buy a bike like this ? & he tells me that all the blokes he rides with have these things & his GSX1400 just can't keep up.

Now this may not seem like anything unusual until you find out that
Pat is 76 yrs old.
Pat tells me He's not afraid of going fast he's just afraid of old peoples homes.
Pat Your a legend !
I hope Im doing stuff like this when Im your age.

Top bloke !!![8D]

My Ex used to live near Len Vale-Onslow (MBE) in Birmingham,
Used to see him about, still had his bike shop and went to work,
Still riding at 102, on a bike he'd designed and build 80 years
earlyier.

Sounds like a good "feel good" story for Rapid. Hopefully being 76 he'd have a stack of pics of him with his other bikes over the years

G'day Boxer,

I agree. Damn good idea. Why don't chase Pat up and do it? I'm sure Jeff would agree.

Would love to let Pat throw a leg over Mr Muscle and record his thoughts.

Even my Mrs thought that was cool. I have to admit I hope I'm still able to ride when I'm his age. Even if it is a scooter with training wheels...

There is a bloke I work with that is near retirement age, he changes his bikes every few months. Among the last half a dozen there has been a Blackbird, 2 Busas and an '09 R1. Cool lad, Like what has been said I hope that at their age and older I hope I'm still riding.

Kris.
