When I picked up my current tank and found out my old fuel tap would not bolt straight on, I looked at them, but ended up going something much cheaper. I am curious though, is there an advantage to a stock slingshot of having one of those? Or is yours modified?

Cheers.

On the ZRX other people have used GSXR fuel taps in place of a pingle for high flow, not sure what year though.

Yea, I know they are high flow, I am just wondering if increased rate of fuel flow is much benefit on a stocker. I didn't go with a Pingle myself because I didn't know if there would be any benefit.

I would imagine you wont see an improvement unless the carbs are bigger.

standard vacume carbs dont always work with pingle high flow taps trust me mine bypast floatbowls filled crankcases with fuel then blew out through breather all over back wheel saved biggest near highside of my life

Used them on my bikes for years.....if your carbies are set up right the float valve holds back the fuel.
And they are cheaper than genuine rebuild kits for jap taps
