Hey everyone!

Well I should say after trawling this great website for a few days it made sense to join! I bought a gsxr1100 about 6 months ago for my first bike after a mate from work made me an offer I didn't think I should pass on. Besides the fairings being removed, its standard. But does enough for me :D I have plans to build it into a street fighter but that will happen after I get my newly acquired k4 gsx 1400 on the road!

Here is the 1100 anyway :)

cheers for the welcomes fellas. i hope thats a good thing tho k6 haha.

this is my gsx 1400 that i picked up for 900 bucks. it was crashed by its previous owner. poor bloke broke his back and had a lengthy time in hospital. he got out and wanted to get rid of it. im just getting it back together so i can get it on the road and see if it rides alright. the damage seems to be superficial. the right side was a bit ratty, the left side is sweet as. i have to source a new instrument cluster and suzuki want $1300 for a new one. does anyone know of a good set that i can use to get roadworthy? tried the wreckers but there isnt much out there :(

Looks like a project, does it run?

Clocks are like hens teeth unless you want to pay huge bucks

Do you have the side covers , tank and tail ??

I have got my first 14 now an 04, and have had it for about 6 months, I love it
I am a big lad so needed a big bike and these pull like a tractor.

Anyways forgot to say welcome before so Welcome!.

Hey Snake. She idles alright, but other then that Im not too sure. Suzuki wants $1300 for a full set of clocks. Its more than what I paid for the whole bike. So the hunt is on for a suitable replacement!! Im repairing the tank at work, the rear plastics are being fixed up at the moment.

All the big things that are left to do:
The frame damage at the rear
Sprockets and chain
Front and rear lights
Fork seals
Source a right can or get a new set

Then its RWC time :D :D
