Never had any problems. Have a look on ebay, I've just bought two which look identical to the Harris Performance filler caps, but half the price. They are actually better made than the Harris as they're all in one piece rather than two pieces as the Harris ones are made. I've had a keyless filler on my bike for the last 6 years with no issues.

I had a Spondon "keyless" (well I didn't have a key for it so same as) fuel cap on my old bike back in Manchester without any problems but I was always anxious about some dirty little toe rag pouring sugar into my tank "for a laugh". Wouldn't have known anything about it until my engine ground to a fatal stop.

oh well fuk it im gonna get one!

does anyone know of a universal type one i can just cut into an oldskool tank?

i was going to find a late modle donor tank and cut the cap recess out and weld it into my tank
but if i could get a universal one and just cut the original filler hole off the tank that would be way easier...

there all diff man ,some have 3 bolt pattern some have 4, if you cut up an old fireblade or r1 tank just buy it to suit,
i got on like this on my busa, if your not to rough with them they last for ever!

I find some broken tea bags work better.
Sugar you can get out with boiling water,
tea leaf bits keep getting trapped, hard to clean out.
Some f#ckers deserve it.

....... so they tell me.
