Les Holt here from Central U.S.A., just now found your site. I'm more of an oldskool bike player, KZ's as they are known here. Just went thru some of the photos here and there are some very impressive bikes to say the least! I play in the area between streetfighter and stretched and lowered, neither to the extreme. I do all my own fabrication and machining, just don't do the paint.
Looking forward to a rewarding experience being here, maybe I can contribute at sometime.

As I said in the other post mate, bloody tidy build. I like it a lot. Always wanted an old Z1. Loads of guys into the old muscle bikes here mate, you'll fit in well.

Cheers, and welcome.

Thanks guys, I ride this thing hard and haven't had a problem other than keeping it clean. The brakes, forks, and wheels are from an 09 ZX6.
Here's a pic of the dash and other side

Giday Les great looking ride.

I rode Zeds for quite a while but found too expensive to keep them alive with big horsepower, especially with kids and a mortgage.

Where abouts in Indiana are you from I deal with a company in Rochester and have been there once and intend going back at some stage.

Mid west Indiana, get this way and I'll see too it you get some seat time! I try to keep a spare ride available but not always possible but always have access to something!

Cool will definitely think about that, been thinking of doing the route 66 ride, just trying to work out whether to buy a hoggly or hire and go the tour mode.
