there are ways around that weasel talk to your gun shop they are pretty crafty when it comes to paperwork

for instance under certain circumstances they will let you have one if you have trouble reloading cos of a missing digit and you dont want to get taken out by a pig

yeah but don't try and con the local copper that is the Firearm Officer. I tryed to give the excuse of needing a Cat C for Primary Producer, and not only did he deny it, but he spruiked on about coming to check out my guns / storage, cause they hadnt been checked for a while.

Just fork out for your game licence , then auto 5 shot centrefire is also an option . Those Buggers are big and need weighing down with an extra quick shot you know.

All my family are either farmers or competitive clay shooters.
12 bore's in every household. Mostly Single selective trigger /
over -under / vented rib / half-three quarter choke / auto-ejects.

Only one I should have kept was a 10-bore Marlin Goose Gun.
Bolt action 3 in a clip, one in the chamber, looooong barrel.
Good tight pattern, long range for a shottie and packed a real punch.

I'd like another 10 bore.

they are a good gun tony i have a bolt action shotty as well they rock ...i use rifled slugs in mine though

We had some real heavy duty 10-bore cartridges.
Similar to the 12-bore's 00-SSG's that have 9 ball's stacked
inside them 3+3+3. I think the gun was designed for "wildfowl"
game shooting but a long barrel with near full-choke it was just
the thing for stray dogs in the old man's sheep.

I know in the US, side-by-side shorter barrel 10 bore's
arent unusual. F#rk! That could get messy !!

A one ounce 50 cal slug hitting you in the chest at 1850 f/s will really fuck up your day, and most of your back !

latheboy

Fuck your "smokeless" crap.... My .58cal black powder back in the day was tested against the slaves.

At 100 yards the slug went through the chests of 13 men standing chest to back....

Gotta love the English for caring about their people....

A quiet sat arvo down the mall in shep

Stolen from a mate , edited out his kids in the last 2 for privacy but they made the photos seem that bit more real.

Was an awareness gimic to rase cash for the local teen mental illness group , local suicide rate is through the roof atm mostly the richer end of town. Was a very disapointing turn out considering , but thats one of the joys of working in mental health.
