she runs a 302 now so she's no slouch but cubes = fun ! and with a 0.5 overdrive in 6th She will be turning over at a lesurely 2000 rpm on the highway at 110 in top 395 = bottom end grunt just right for that. Be interesting to see how the mustang box handels that in 6th though lol

Its a manual , as all real gearboxs are pete none of this auto shit for me . The Mustang T6's have an issue with synchro in 5th n 6th . Waiting for one to turn up cheap on ebay , then i'll drop the $350 from the states fix kit in it and away we go.

Bus runs a 6.11/1 diff so with the old 3 speed auto she was reving at 4000 to sit on 100k's windsors like to rev but not all day on the highway. The T6 runs 0.7 in 5th and 0.5 over in 6th so it will be interesting to see how long the T6 lives in 6th behind the 395 pushing 4.5 ton down the highway @ 100 km/h. A 22r with 5 speed putting out maybe 70 hp will get a coaster up to 110 if you push it real hard So the 395 in 6th shouldnt be working to much lol

she will cruise lovely at 100ks with the 6 speed, top gear 100k you think 1950 rmp.

Yeah alowing a little slip for the auto in her now , I'd say 1900 rpm for 100km/h should be about spot on. And even enough grunt to pull a car behind the bus with 2 bikes stuffed under the queen bed in the back of the bus.

You remember theres a lathe n mill in there Mish lol good memory The lathe/mill is leaving burtha and going in a work dedicated boxed in tandam for those working holidays.

Putting a bigger stereo in burtha , two horn (20 to 80 hz) loaded sub base drivers each with twin 500w rms 15" drivers in each and a pair of 15" midbase (80 to 140 hz) ported drivers. Theres a lot of room in burtha to fill with good vibes.

Thinking the base horns will be L shaped anyhow so why not make them function in two ways , so there going to be passenger seats behind drivers bench seat around my breakfast table !

I've got to fix the ute sell some junk from my partners place (to make room for more junk) then I'll drive burtha over here to start major work. The motor for a start 302 going 395 stroker going in , disk brake front end outa a later model dyna truck and 6 speed. Relocate bed to rear of her with a roof hight increaseof 400 mm (she is a standard roof bus they also come in high top). Then the queen bed will be just high enough to allow bikes to come in the rear ramp and fit under the bed for storage. Leaving the tow ball for a tralor or ute etc.
