Club Laverda QLD Inc. CONCOURS 2012
Cleveland Showgrounds, Long Street, Cleveland
Sunday 15th July, 2012
Start: 8.00am to 2pm, Trophies 2.30pm
$5 Admission (over 15) payable at the gate on entry, includes off street motorcycle parking.
Entries for the Concours de Elegance close at 10.30am attracting a $10 entry fee.

CONCOURS 2012 will be the 24th annual event hosted by Club Laverda QLD. Inc.
Club Laverda QLD proudly supports the Make a Wish Foundation and donations will be taken on the day for this worthy charity.
Over the last 5 years, CLQ has donated some $37,500 to Make a Wish.

CONCOURS 2012 is a static motorcycle show offering some 60 trophies and $2000 for best machine entered on the day.

CONCOURS 2012 will be the second show held at the Cleveland Showgrounds due to the event outgrowing the original Story Bridge venue.

The success of CONCOURS 2012 is assured as long as the weather is permitting. If the weather does not cooperate the event will be resheduled with a new date posted asap.

The event is alcohol free and as such is a family orientated day.

Concours attracts motorcycle trade stores (approx 30), motorcycle entusiast clubs and allied stalls (20 approx), food vendors, kiddies rides, and motorcycle enthusiasts both local and interstate.

CLQ volunteers will be on hand early Sunday to usher store holders and exhibitors to their allocated sites.

CLQ volunteers will be indentified by their high visibility CLQ EVENT STAFF vests.

Ill be taking my bike along, enter it in whatever category, street special or custom or whatever else there is.
Ill try get a better pic of the poster, but the categories are the same as last year.. and you can read it better on their website.

Be nice to have a few fighters there though..

Cleveland Show grounds churn up real bad after a bit of rain.
Even if it hadnt rained today, the place would still be very soft.

Same as last yr if they get any rain a wk before an event they postpone it .. used to live 5 mins from there and events were always being changed due to weather as they dont want their precious grass wrecked

That worked well when they had the show at kangaroo point, we just ended up at the story bridge hotel instead..

i had a stand there with some paintwork and sprayout of some candy colours was a great show was good to chat with a few guys from various places and even to my zephyr for a run out nice to catch up with with lynton aka ozzy1100 again .

keep at it with that zeph mate its gonna be a cracker
