Hello fellow fighters,

an undisclosed member is purchasing my RGV rolling chassis.
he has the intentions of making it a supermono, has found a suitable engine but unfortunately its a stupid euro one with the sprocket on the right-hand-side.

we were wondering if anyone has ever flipped the swingarm + wheel over trying to get the same result we are after?

anyone tried it or heard of it being done?
alternatively anyone got a large capacity single cylinder engine they are willing to part with?

cheers

If the s/arm has no brace and the s/arm is mounted in the centre of the frame (not offset) I see no problem with it. If it is slightly offset you can lways make up some spacers to align the sprockets and centre of wheel to centre of frame.

You also need to see if you can weld on tabs to mount the shock on the other side of the arm

Take a few measurements and give it a crack

I too have pondered this idea, put some picks up once you've done it.
