3.9M earthquake just NW of Gunnedah, details here. Easy way to get everyone in the street outside at 9.30 at night.

but seriously what the fuck is wrong with the east side of australia , it has stopped raining and flooding everywhere for years , natural disasters everywhere now earthquakes , im heading out to the wa boarder tommorrow with some c4 to detach this state before we get caught up in this shit , i like my blue sky and non shakey ground

Initially I though the mines had blown something up using a bit too much jelly. They reckon we get one every 50 years or so, it's the first one I've ever felt. The hills between Gunnedah and Tamworth were made by a fold so I guess there must have been a fault line of some description there at some stage. It took about 20 minutes before the jokes came out this was one of the better ones.

I saw a doco on the deepest underground mine in the world in South Africa. And they had an earthquake while filming and all it was, was a loud bang like a rifle shot and tunnels had collapsed and roof re enforcement had buckled it was fucking freaky
