Pick up my new wheels on saturday...

Hey guys,
So name is Clark. and for the past 6 months I have been putting money aside to get back on 2 Wheels.my previous bikes where suzis a gs500 and gixer 750 94 mod. Both were fun bikes and always loved suzis so my next choice was either a busa or gsx1400 (as I love nakeds) I've allways had a soft spot for kwakas from the zx9s through 12s and the zrx1200. So I had been looking mostly for a gsx14 and then saw a 05 zrx with 30thou on the clock and being sold by an old bloke. At the right price. Went an had a look at her and fell in love. Rode it then that was it had to have it. So gave him the deposit and organized to pick it up in a week when I could get to the bank to get the rest of the cash out.

Want to try and keep her looking as she does with a few personal touches to make it my own and get a few more ponies out of her then just enjoy.

There's nothing wrong with a ZRX that a Busa motor
and running gear wouldnt put right........

NICE.

If there were no Suzuki's, i'd have Kwak's in my shed,
and a ZRX would have to be on the list.

Do some homework, I know there are some real monsters
that have been built in the US. Muzzy and a few other
big names have done a lot of work with them.

Nice choice I've got the 03 S version.

In regards to the exhaust options do NOT go muzzy, crap design low quality.
Brock's is the best choice, you'll get a good price on e-bay or http://www.brocksperformance.com/ will usually match other prices.
If you can find a Akrapovic then that would be even better but they're hard to find and $$$. Also a Full System is the only way to go.

I'm pretty sure muzzy cams are just zzr1200 cams at a premium price.

If you want to go big bore then muzzy's big bore kit is the way to go it's gonna cost $$$$$$
I'm gonna go Hi Comp standard bore JE pistons.

One of the best mods you can do is have the suspension set up for you.

Sorry for not being more active on here. just been working ect ect, so i have thrown on some gold renthal ultra lows, bar end mirrors, aftermarket indicators and hacked the rear fender down.

And EVLZX personally for me i was looking at the kerker meg full system as i like the blacked out look, and i am not sure on how im going to get power from this yet as i would really love to drop the front fairing and strap a train light to it and throw a turbo on in the future but untill then i think i might just go for the kerker meg, cams and jetting then save for the turbo or keep it as is for a long time and buy a zx14 or busa for the power.

after a few months of owning this thing im really enjoying it, down low its nice and torquey but drops off a bit top end but i didnt buy a naked for the top end did i...

I have seen the brocks they look good too, my plan is to keep the zrx until it dies and put bits and peices away for a 14 down the track.

Missing the ZRX ?? i thought you had the "s" model

I do but I've started pulling it apart.
I'm changing it a bit I don't think I'll be done till june cos I want to do some engine work while it's all apart, rather than have the engine in and out.

But I've got a 06 ZX14 now too so it's all good.

ah ok sounds good, yeh i have gone through that before haha, good site. ive allways loved busas, and had a soft spot for the zx12r but when i saw the 14 it just looks so much more menacing then the busa does now, to me any way. i didnt have the dollars to get a 14 when i was looking and picked up my zrx for a bargain ( havent seen one going for anywhere near what i got it for ) but im happy and will buy a 14 when ever i stop spending money on the rex or when i can afford to do both haha
