a turbo kit would be much cheaper...

An done so well its almost "off the self" turbo kit from ben or booster would be half the cost of a well setup supercharger and make more power with less fuel consumption. I'd bet a compleat turbo kit from one of the guru's would be about the same price as a "just right charger" by itself then the drive setup is going to be interesting to get just right.

I love the all times grunt of a charger but a well setup turbo will be far more versatile than a charger.

Id go the turbo route with Ben. I mean its almost foolproof considering hes done it so much and refined the install.

Go with a turbo, the superchargers like rotrex, and Sprintex are great for low down drive, but they tend to run out of steam at higher rpms. I have looked into driving them using a variator type arrangement to gear them up at higher rpms, but for the amount of work in installing it you may as well go down the turbocharged route. It is nice and reliable, and not that pricey to do it properly. I'm just about to map Sparts turbo Busa, now I've finished completely rewiring it and sorting out all the problems with it. 300bhp in high mode and around 230bhp in low mode.

Do both and be different.

That's already been done too on the VTR in the UK

If you want to be different , do a centrifical charger and make it work ! Busa is the motor to do it on , torque down low isnt a big prob centrifical will make the mid to top end silly. More effecient than roots charger and prob easyer to mount than a roots (smaller for more boost) Off the shelf units to suit a busa sized motor exsist.

And when you roll up to Ben's and say strap this in there he will eather get a fat or cry , eather will give you a chuckel. Mind you your wallet might not like you much.
