I called sal, then called weasel, and spoke to him a few minutes ago. He was pulling back the gates on the side of his truck so the forklift guy could get access to unload. No stoppers on the gates, so they fell out on top of him, with 120kg of steel gate on his leg. Has had an xray, needs to go for an mri or ct scan to check ligaments, etc.
He's high as a kite, but ok for now.

Hey guys,

As Rod said, Weasel has gone and hurt himself again. All I know right now is that some steel gates from a hire trailor fell onto his right knee (see Hooligan knows more than me!). So far X-rays have shown no broken bones, but haven't entirely ruled out a fracture. He is being sent for a CT scan shortly, and we should know more later on.

His yard boss has come to see him in hospital, and they are genuinely concerned about him.

I haven't gone out to Nepean Hospital yet, in his stubborn way he has asked me, and his parents, to stay home and wait until he is ready. It could be hours before we know anything.

Also just wanna say thanks to Hooligan, and Mish, for your really kind offer of help this afternoon, we both truly appreciate it.

Hey all
Thanks for the kind wishes all of ya. Makes me feel all streetfightery.
Right I was pulling the side gates on a trailer foward to unload and somewhere along the line the stopper had fallen out so all 100+ kg,s came crashing down on me. Lucky for me that the momentum of me pulling them made me fall away but not before they hit my right kneecap and damaged the tendons.
Im laid up for about a month now with deep tissue bleeding and tendon damage but no fractures thank fuck. Got to wear a full leg splint with no weight bearing allowed and crutches.
So im not really in the best of shape and it looks like Hooligan gets the keys to the Zed to stop the fuel going stale :)

Thanks all for the kind thoughts. Its been a pretty fucked up month and this capped it off but its good to have you bunch of nutters for support

Good to hear you're ok mate. As for being laid up in bed, I'm up for that soon. Just found out I tore 3 ligaments in my right knee. Need a full knee reconstruction. Gonna be off my feet for a while too
