so... the time has come. Honestly, i don't really want to do it (i know everyone says that, but i'm sure anyone who has been on here for a while knows how much i've put into this bike), but the RSV has taken it's place and seeing as i'm moving to Bairnsdale there is no need to have any sensibility in my daily ride (a lot less traffic, so the RSV's ridiculousness will work as a ride to work steed.) I also am planning on buying a house in the near future... yet another reason to not have 2 bikes...
enough of that babbling and justifying this...
Here are the details for anyone who doesn't know.
PRICE: $4000 (moving in 3 weeks... it has to go)
Pros
- Speedo shows 24000kms however it did about 1000km with an aftermarket dash on it, so it's only like 25k.
- Always well taken care of and loved
- Custom single seat tail unit and custom through tail exhaust (my favourite bit)
- SV racing parts rear sets
- Bar end mirrors
- SV1000 forks and front brakes (quite an upgrade from the 650 units, especially the brakes)
- Renthal drag bars
- FP racing adjustable bi-fold levers (they don't break when you stack, they bend up or down)
- Black engine with stainless bolt kit
- Probably at least 50% on the treads
- Its awesome!
Cons
- Has been crashed 3 times due to the other people pulling out in front of me. you can read all about the stacks on here (or more detail on svdownunder.com)... i'm always very honest about things (possibly to my detriment, but meh) however every stack has been a chance for upgrades without any major damage ever being incurred (to the bike or myself).
- Doesn't come with a RWC or rego due to my time constraints, but that is reflected with the price. (it will need the exhaust hushed down (steel wool in the pipe or a friendly RWC man) and i have the factory rear mud guard to chuck on there for rego, it's ugly, but it's legal :lol:)
- ummm.... its too awesome! :grin: :cool: :tongue:
