Sofotasios' FZR400 (Greece)

Got this one sent to me over the weekend from Greece. I like seeing guys have a go at these smaller bikes as well. Can't remember the last time I saw an FZR400 done. Pretty tidy as well hey?:

Here's his email:

"This is an old ('89) fzr 400 Yamaha. It was like a trash when i start with it. I polish anything on alloy and nickel plate the wheels (the rear is from newest model). I put an acerbis mask on the front and a pazzaz steering wheel [bars?]. If you want more details there is a video with photos that i made on youtube. Just press "csofos" on the search box. "

This is just the thing that inspires me! I like the old FZR bikes. I was looking at a 600 on ebay the other week. Awesome bike and chees for posting it up!

I didn't had much time to make the video. I like Bryan Adams. So i took his cd and picked up this song. All i had to do was to put all the pictures i had on my pc in an order. It was easy. The difficult (but pleasant) part was the restoring of the bike.

Well, many of us in Greece involving with scooters. You know, the younger boys. I had this old fzr and as you'll see in the youtube video it was to shit! Mnay people telling me to sell it to them just for 300€. But no!!! I love this bike and i would never sell it.

Thanks buddy. Hey guys you all listen. I'm coming to Oz on February. My girlfriend is Australian. I'm coming there for 20 days to visit her. I'll be in Mellbourne. And we'll go to Sydeny for a weekend too. So, if anyone of you lives there (and if i have time to meet someone) i'd like to meet with you people. Friends there in Oz, already managed a bike for me to ride. I'll be glad if i meet in person anyone of you.
