Picked this up a little while ago from Playswithnitro, finally able to start work on it. It will be come my daily transport as the turbo is a little twitchy for lanesplitting on the Monash. it's not going to be anything mental, staying with the 750 motor. Like me, it will be simple and unlike me it will be neat and clean. I've got a few ideas on direction but I'll let the bike direct itself.

First changes are Brembo radial master cylinder

And originally for the turbo (but couldn't work out a way to make it look right), an early birthday present from the most awesome wife ever. Bought from Stiff Simon (thanks mate) an Ohilins steering damper. The brackets in this pic are just for mock up. will make some nice ones later.

Finally work has started in ernest on this thing. Shortened the loom, will be replaced with 7 core trailer wiring split of to looms at some point but until then this will be fine, new coils and plugs going on tomorrow night hopefully this will clear the misfire, it might even get a valve clearance while I'm there, then it's time for a bare frame strip down and let the fun comence.

Beat me to it mate with your commuter rebuild. I'm just about to do a revamp on my commuter steed. But at least mine will be BLACK, proper colour. Watch this (or at least another) space.

Got these back from Kev at VCM, thanks to Bryn for being the delivery boy too. Awesome work Kev VERY happy. Will look great on the kommuter kettle.

Bike was running on three cylinders when I finally fired it up. Turns out one inlet valve had no clearance, so popped the head off and found one valve punched back into the head. It was starting to burn but no damage to the seat at all. So it's one new valve, de-coke all valves, coarse lap all of them, new stem seals and I'll have myself a nice freash new cylinder head. Note the gummy buildup in the water jacket, it was all through the head and barrels.
